Whatever you say... I'm talking about something else clearly. My polite request still stands. I'm not denying there is a bug and frankly I don't care until X3D comes out.

That Keurig coffee maker was a great investment

If you like spending more for your coffee.

Not if you buy it - if you invested in it.  Really big difference!

Invest in the stocks or the Keurig itself? Who cares about the stocks for the Keurig. I would invest in the K-cups stocks. It's amazing how much people spend on them. You pay roughly 120 percent more for the coffee than the old way. That doesn't even count the damage to the environment the K-cups pose.

Besides, all they do is make coffee and coffee is pretty yuck. I know you can make hot chocolate and tea with the Keurig but they are used to make coffee. That makes them useless. ;-)

The idea is cool and I hope you enjoy your coffee.

It was a joke! I have no idea whether they have a Keurig coffeemaker or not. I was just thinking there might be a correlation between large amounts of caffeine and the frenetic pace of development. Actually, I don't even know if they drink coffee...

I'll go back to drummer jokes...

I can understand SlikTone's perspective.  If the tool does not do the job you need, use another tool.  Personally, I've found that the free version of Finale takes care of the issues that I have with the Staff View.  I think that it is silly though to condemn an entire product that is usable by everyone except him as defective when it fails to perform such a bizarre function as his MIDI chaining requirements.  Hey, it works for the rest of us and it sounds like he has found a solution that works for him.

Can't help but wonder though, if the bakers spent time on his one-off peculiar issues would he would sing another tune.

yeah but the bug is reproducible, sig or no, it seems like an avoidance tactic, take it how you like, it's the internet :)

Why don't you try it yourself?

Not wanting to start a flame war but anyone who has interest in this subject are quite capable of doing their own testing yes?

LOL, no.

This is basic MIDI routing 101, and expecting a DAW to properly route MIDI from a VSTi plugin into another MIDI track hardly qualifies as "a bizarre MIDI routing requirement" nor a "one-off peculiar issue".

Or doing something "bizarre" as recording MIDI from an external keyboard while a completely unrelated VSTi is feeding MIDI into a softsynth on a completely unrelated track.

Or doing something "bizarre" as using, say, two instances of Catanya or two instances of any VSTis sending MIDI out.

I'm not sure how you believe any of those qualify as "bizarre" or "one-off peculiar".

Well, over three years, I can remember a handful of posts related to MIDI output from VSTis.  Seems to be a rather peculiar requirement to me.  About as big a show stopper as not being able to edit the full staff in Staff View.  It sounds like you have found a tool that does this for you, but it does not seem to be something that the vast majority of Sonar users need.
