It's true. SONAR X3d will be available next week. It was mentioned in the newsletter that went out today. SONAR X3 customers will be getting a newsletter tomorrow because we are including some free goodies for Session Drummer 3 as part of Drum Month.

Are there two newsletters, one today and one tomorrow?  I still don't seem to be getting them after signing up for them on the Cakewalk website some time ago.  Suggestions?

My guess is CW once again fixes all some the fluffy easy to fix bugs that they introduced in the previous release, everyone (including CW) pats them on the back for a job well done, but CW once again passes on the old and tired bugs that no developer at CW is capable of figuring out.
 
I might be wrong but unless something at CW changed in the last 5 years, that has been the typical MO.

Why bother with Sonar then, or are you here just to get us to feel as cynical as yourself?

Very good to see so much activity. While I have been mostly fiddling with Logic Pro X, I have been keeping an eye on where I started back in the 90s always. Might actually upgrade soon.

From reading the fixes in the c patch they did a lot of work getting rid of "old" bugs.
Not to mention all the other dexes in the other patches. Really, wouldn't it be nice if you waited for the patch to come out before condemning it?
