Andrew - I'd like to see something closer to what Brandon has done in the past.

If showing some feature, how about sounding interested in it? How about letting the video watcher hear what happens when you use the feature?

What I mean is Brandon, although super talented, comes across as "one of us" - somebody who uses the tool - and here's something cool you can do with it. Street savvy and expressing advice while showing off a feature.

Since Brandon no longer helps Cakewalk with these, the team that makes the CakeTV videos sound like they are reading a script and it's a textbook. I suspect the narrator has never used Sonar. He certainly doesn't let you hear anything he's describing.

Although my comment is a dash critical of the recent marketing videos from Cakewalk, I actually am a huge fan of Cakewalk and Sonar X3. I'd just like the marketing demos to really demo rather than talk over features. When Watching a Brandon demo I get really inspired and I feel almost like buying extra copies of Sonar just so I can do all the cool stuff. So bland versus motivating - please make demos that show us possibilities and can motivate us because it's so cool and easy to use.

Yes Megan Fox is one of us. More seriously I'm simply interested in new features or things people have never before demonstrated, I've got Groove3 videos otherwise.

I would like to see takelanes and comp lanes demoed extensively in real time, showing all the tracks, as I don't believe it to be working effectively (plenty of threads about that), however all I have installed at the moment is X3C.

id like to see users have a chance to create a video or two and have it posted to cake tv
but only good ones, not long uninteresting ones.
ive made a few and I think they would be helpful.

Brandon is great. His videos are awesome and I understand what you mean. The current batch of videos were done to help people get started. I totally understand what you want. And in case you didn't know, we now have Craig Anderton working with us who has put out a collection of amazing SONAR videos. Brandon did the webinars mostly so assuming you'd like to see more that. It's on the list...we've been in transition and are doing our 2014 planning and webinars and live training is on our wishlist.

I'd love to see how the current midi (GR55 and Fender/Roland guitars) devices integrate in Sonar. And a simple thing. On most devices nowadays I can integrate a pedal for start and stop.... How to get record enable and record out of that?

And drum pads can be used to be launchpads... But allso to trigger drums... How to use both in the same project.

Some more on touch screen enabled laptops... And some about 64 samples on the current USB2 audio interfaces. Do you need to set it so low or is delaycompensation the better deal.... And so on and sofort...
