I want to update an old project and use AD2.
The project used AD1 for the drums. The track is  frozen and playing correctly but I don't remember the kit that was used.
If the track is unfrozen, the midi name and style is shown, but no way to know what kit samples were used. because AD1 Synth Rack is greyed out and won't open.
Is there a way to find what drum kit was used without reinstalling the older Addictive Drums 1?

Is AD1 installed?

If so, I would save the project under a new name/project for safety, then unfreeze the ad1 tracks. Then the correct drum kit should show.

If it's not installed, reinstall it then do the above.

I think you can also add those kits to ad2. I don't remember if there is a fee for that but I think it's free?

I also meant to say that obviously, you need to copy the midi track from ad1 to ad2 or redirect the midi track of ad1 to ad2. I don't really recommend that as you may run into trouble deleting ad1 afterwards unless you're careful.

Currently the AD1 to AD2 upgrade is $50. Still the cheapest way to get the 3 Studio kits into AD2.
