1) Some of my projects have all the same track colours, even though I have tried to change them, they do not change. Other projects have the usual array of colours and I am able to change them. It would be nice if I could have group colours (Like Pro Tools ouch!) Back in the old Sonar days, you could right click a track and find an option to change its colour. That feature seems to have disappeared. This is really all academic, as I am unable to change colours anyway. An enigma. Anyone got any ideas.
2) Does anyone use Drumagog. I get terrible latency when trying to record a Midi instrument, if I have Drumagog in the project.

How did you try to change track colors? In the Track Inspector? Perhaps posting screenshots will help us understand your problem?

Thanks guys, that was really helpful. I'm away all week so won't be able to try it until weekend. I was using EDIT-Preferences-Colours.

Are you running Drumagog in LIVE TRIGGER mode or ADAVANCED? Advanced adds about 80ms of latency when doing MIDI conversion. FYI if you switch to Live mode it will bark at you, just ignore it.

Cool!

The way X3 allows changing track colors is pretty slick.

I am using Drumagog as a effect on an audio track containing a real kik drum. I'm using Drumagog to replace the sound of the audio drum, which is triggering Drumagog. If that is LIVE TRIGGER MODE? then that's what I am doing.

By default Drumagog 5 loads with Advanced Triggering. When the plug-in loads next time click on the SETTINGS tab in the lower right corner below all the samples. On the Settings page you will see in the upper left a button that lets' you choose between Advanced and Live. Odds are it was on the default, Advanced which goes as high as 80 ms of latency. Live will go as low as your souncards current buffer settings which in may case is about 2ms.

Thanks Emwhy. As you said it was set on Advanced.
