Just reapply the X3c patch as administrator (it includes all previous patches). And be sure to launch X3c as administrator as well.

Do I need to uninstall the patch first I assume?

Well, you could try installing X3c update with Run As Administrator option.  If that does not work, then I recommend you uninstall X3 completely, including deleting the 2 X3 registry keys and the 2 X3 hidden folders, then install again with Run As Administrator for the base product AND the update.

Hey Bob. Just wanted to let you know that worked! I did the X3c patch again, running as Admin, and set X3 Studio to always run as admin. Problem seems to be gone.

Thanks a million sir!

Well, there have been other reports of strange and weird things happening, where either an uninstall/install or applying maintenance again, WITH the explicit Run As Administrator option set, has made things work better.

Me, I always apply maintenance with that setting, and I also alter the properties of the Sonar launch icon (under Advanced, after opening properties for the icon), so that it always launches with Run As Administrator.  It is just one extra 'Enter' and it just works better.

Glad it is working,
