Hey Fellas, 
 
I have a problem with about 4-5 synth loop libraries (REV, Albion, Aeon) that do not sync tempo information correctly.  
I've talked with the manufacturers and they haven't had any report problems and it seems like it has to be something with Sonar X3.
The loops played in Kontakt work at first, but when you close the project and open it again, it's messed up and not synced.

Wish I knew the answer...  I just noticed that too while writing with tempo based loops....  Damage seems to work fine...hmmm
 
It might have something to do with Sonar since I have friends (Cubase +Mac) that don't have any issues.    For a work around I have started to print the loops...  Totally sucks.   Trying to narrow down what it could be and Sonar is the weak link so far.   Going to check on my home rig tonight.

Just got Aeon yesturday : no go , i'm **** mad since i had other stuff to buy ..sent an email to support but don't expect that mutch ....
 
I also ordered the K9U but if i have those issues ...i cancel the thing cause i bought K9 for Heavyocity and action string that use step sequencer in kontakt witch seems to be the culprit !!
 
By the way i was about to get albion 3  also !!

I have Komplete 9. If you can give me precise and exact steps I can test this (I have just bought the product so just assume I'm some idiot who doesn't know what to do (shouldn't be too hard )).
 
If this is an issue I am keen to log this as a bug with whoever is responsible. Maybe all of us could.

just tried west africa , wehn i put sync to host (host = 90 bpm) hte sync value gives me =89.99 lol ...Sonar and Kontakt sync no go .....i forgot why i don't mess with NI samples libraires now i remeber !!! K9 U + Aeon for nothing , i should have gone East west and basta !

Cake juste use some withe a step sequencer or loops (not sliced , a played sequenced of sound if you know what i mean ) try Session string = obvious in perferomce mode ...when i freeze  the clip is not starting on bars straigt i have to move it with magnetism to get it on start point (bar)

Hm...the Kontakt stuff seems to work OK here. I pulled up West Africa and Session Strings. West Africa reports tempo OK and seems to sync, and Sessions Strings with the Animator turned on syncs fine and freezes fine.
 
Sorry I'm not much help with fixing it for you, but if there's something else you'd like me to try and replicate I'd be happy to give it a shot.

gimme you metronome set up if ya can .....are you sure it's not a littel of sync (really a little ) ...?
 
oh yeah play a loop (in sonar) and try with a mutimbrale in konatk t (several sequenced isntruements stress it a little)

Well...I just loaded West Africa and chose 2 -Percussion Ensemble 16, Den Haben Dunun.nki. I then selected "Host" for Trigger and turned on Sync. When I click Play in Sonar, the loop starts and repeats perfectly...I listened for several minutes until I got bored. Also, if you click in Sonar in a place that would be the middle of a pattern, playback starts from the middle of the pattern.
 
What am I doing differently that you're not doing? It works perfectly here.

well west africa isn't the big problem since it's loaded with swing , thks Greg , could you try with session strings for exemple ?
 
by the way i tried every buffer size , and freq (44 -96khz) ..i had great result when using only one instruments in one instance of contact ...if i go mutli or several instances of kontakt things getting dirty ...or random after each loop cycle
