well west africa isn't the big problem since it's loaded with swing , thks Greg , could you try with session strings for exemple ?
by the way i tried every buffer size , and freq (44 -96khz) ..i had great result when using only one instruments in one instance of contact ...if i go mutli or several instances of kontakt things getting dirty ...or random after each loop cycle
I've used Action Strings and other Kontakt stuff that syncs to tempo...never a problem. But, I rarely use more than five instances or so; Kontakt demands a lot of resources.
If it's a question of computer horsepower, maybe you should just lay down a track and freeze it before doing the next track? And save the MIDI file and preset if you need to edit it later?
This sounds like an exaggerated version of trying to record tracks to a flash drive...at some point the drive just can't write fast enough, and the tempo goes to hell. Maybe try streaming from flash (which reads fast) instead of hard drive?
