Hi,

Just got new computer with X3c. One thing that's driving me crazy is this, and I'm sure there's some way to solve it, just not sure how. I have an RME Fireface 800, and while all the drivers are appearing and seem to work (so far) in SONAR, they are listed in some random order that makes it really hard to locate them when setting up I/O for tracks and outputs. How can I rearrange/order them to my preference or at least alphabetically or something?

THANKS!

OK - switching to ASIO drivers got them back in the order I expected and am used to. Not sure Why Sweetwater installed this with the MME drivers, but changing that has fixed a couple problems.

It may be that they used the board audio to test the installation. If that was the case they probably had to use MME drivers.

Also RME drivers for the FF800 no longer support MME.

Another point is that Windows can't use ASIO drivers so make sure not to let window sounds be active and play through your FF800. I always use my onboard sound device for windows programs like media player and windows sounds. It works as a decoy and that way Sonar will always load with the drivers that were last active which should be ASIO. Hope that helps.

You might add 'solved' to your thread's subject line, so folks know it got fixed.

Congrats on getting it figured out that quick.
