I never tried with my Pod XT and foot controller. I just play the part, add the wah effect and create envelopes. It works pretty well but is time consuming. The good part is it's ver exacting.

Soens,

Next > Controllers/Surfaces > Yellow Star Button > Act Midi Controller Choice > In Port = Fast Track Ultra In > Out put = None > Act Checked > WAI unchecked > Apply.

This is how you set up the midi device. Click the yellow star and then set it as an Act midi controller and define your in port.

If you don't have a midi in from the device, then it can't be set up, but if you do have midi in, you should be able to configure it.

Click the smart control you want to automate with your pedal on the bottom half so it says 'midi learn' and then move the pedal. If it is working properly, it should immediately begin to read the value from the pedal and apply it to the smart nob... so on the window for the TH2 you will actually see the pedal rising and falling as you move your real life pedal.

This is the part that doesn't work or I don't understand what I should be doing.

Question: Can I use the A800 pro pedal as a control for the wah expression or any other effect in TH2. If yes, may I ask a detailed how to ( a numbered or bulleted style would be really appreciated) . Sorry if I maybe asking too much, not really that much techie like perhaps some of us here

If your device has MIDI out or USB/MIDI drivers then it should work, though mine isn't working at the moment.

Post #9 is the list though it's not as clear as it could be.

In an effort to help with this, I'm posting a video that walks you through how to add the controller and then wire it up using ACT to a parameter that you wish to control, like the WAH filter in TH2.

So Digitech says: "The R255 cannot be used as a midi controller for a DAW."

Bummer soens. FYI midi controllers are not super expensive if that makes you feel better.
