Is there not a way to show DimPro where the heck the samples are that it installed?
My dimension pro 64 dll is in C:\prog files\cakewalk\vstplugins\dimension pro
Plug in manager shows it to be the same yet Dim Pro reports it can't find the multi-samples...any suggestions?
Thanks very much,
Randy

scook
DimPro looks for multisamples based on the registry entry "MultiSamples Folder" in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Cakewalk Music Software\dp or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Cakewalk Music Software\dp if the 32bit version was installed.

Don't forget to hit the F5 key when you open the patch browser window. It will refresh the patches.

The F5 key only updates the program browser by deleting and rebuilding the programs.lst file using the contents of the Programs directory. The multisamples don't play a role in this function.

I'm happy to report I changed the value under "multisamples folder" in the registry to the correct drive and it works as expected now...geez, is there anything you DON'T know scook?!
Thanks very much,
Randy

We don't have time for the list, it is a big one. When it comes to SONAR, I use a very small portion of it's feature set.
