@synkrotron: thanks Andy!  Medium rare comin' right up! :)

@whack: thanks Cian for taking a listen.  I'm not hearing the horns you suggested though.  Any particular place you're thinking?  I'm curious. :)

@Wookiee: thanks John for listening. :)  I think questioning things is healthy, as long as one doesn't get too preoccupied with it.

@jamesg1213: thank you James for your thoughts.  This one isn't as soft edged as some of my other stuff.  Sorry it didn't work for you.

@clintmartin: thanks Clint!  My jazz guitar licks pale in comparison to yours, for sure.  Plus, I don't know how to speak jazz cat. :)

@MarkusClinus: thanks Mark!  Great to hear from you.

@emeraldsoul: thanks Tom, glad you liked it!  And you're making me blush. ;)

@Bert Guy: thanks Bert!  Now I'll have to go listen to some Gil Scott Heron.  "Interesting" is exactly what I was going for on this one.  Glad you liked it!

Geeeesh...well if you weren't at those board game conventions maybe you would have gotten it finished sooner:)

I love the whole concept of this Walt. I love this kind of mental debate too...so I liked it all the way around. Very well mixed. I love that jazz vibe!

Good stuff, Walt.  I'd leave it alone... it speaks for itself.

is there a new Shaft movie coming ?
awesome bass line, you just see the guy standing there with his afro 70s haircut.
taking 1 piece of the percussion and putting that mono in the center only, might add an 'analog, vintage' feel to is, not sure though.
(just thought the percussion maybe better in less stereo sound).
great stuff !

Hi, Walt,

Very cool, well written song with a clever concept and nicely textured instrumentation, that sounds almost like a smooth jazz and chill fusion!

Really nice work on the arrangement, and you've got a clean, wide pro sounding mix that sounds perfect for the genre.

Excellent production, Walt, great stuff, have a good one, buddy!

Great sounding mix of course. I really like the syncopation you have going on there with the bass. I think it is a superb interesting track the way it is but I think would greatly benefit from a soloing instrument here and there. Sax, trumpet, or guitar. Really interesting as is though.

Walt,
Just loved the cookies and milk along with this fine jazzy improve piece. Although thought provoking to the mental confusion of a free will, might I allure you to another perspective of pre-destination, which can also be an alternate mental stimuli. That may require more than cookies and milk though!!

Peace and Blessings, John

I loved it. Sounds really good. Nice job all around.
Think the keyboard solo is too wet (just a tad too far back IMO). No matter. Killer groove!
