I use Musician Real Guitar on almost every song since I don't own an acoustic. RG sits really well in most mixes with very little EQ required. I also use Indigenous Acoustic Guitar to get some variety. (Great for Acoustic guitar solos BTW)
I learned on the Music lab forum that the secret to realistic sounds on their products is to use lower velocity. Their philosophy is that it is more based on feel than it is loudness.
I usually average about 65 or 70 in velocity and the raise the harder strums for an accent. Sometimes lower in the 40s for quicker strums.
By using two instances of RG I pan them wide and alternate the velocities to simulate an auto pan effect. To me it sounds better than using an effect to achieve that with one guitar...
