Hello all. I have a very simple question. Straight forward.
 
How do you send one track to multiple buses at one time?
 
Lets say you have two guitar tracks. Track 1 and track 2. You want to compress, gate, and equalize both tracks the same. But want to use different reverbs, delays, ect. for both tracks. But you want the reverb and delay effects to be added onto buses and not the main track. Ive heard putting reverb on buses make it sound better, or different, so this is what im attempting to do.
 
So I create a main bus. That has compression, gate, and EQ. Then send the main out of track 1 and track 2 to this bus.
Then I make two separate buses with different reverbs, delays Ect.
How do I send track 1 to a (reverb/delay) bus. Then send track 2 to a different (reverb/delay) track.
 
Track 1 only has one out, which is default set to master. I dont get it. If anyone would be so kind to help me. That would be awesome.

Right click the track strip and select "Insert Send" > "New Stereo Bus" to add sends and create the buses for the reverb/delay for each track.

To elaborate, If you right click down in the lower work area you can add as many busses as you wish ( I think? ) You can name them anything you wish, and direct their output to any of the other busses , the Master, or directly to your interfaces outputs. The options are many.
A normal set up would be to add the Master Bus and point it's outputs to your interfaces 1/2 stereo out.
Then add efxs busses and direct their output to the master.
Sub group busses would also be directed to the master.
 
Then up in the track view work area all your tracks and soft synths outputs should be pointed at the Master or to any sub groups. But make sure they are not going to the interface directly.
 
 
You can globaly set outputs using the "Tracks" menu both audio and MIDI, a handy tool.
 
For the efxs busses you can add each one of these as a send for each track in the track pane by right clicking and use the menu. Careful, the default is a strong level.
You could make a template with all the sends already added and set to "off" Templates are your friend if you tend to work the same way on each song, or before recording a band. Save the template with the "bypass all efx bins" checked for better tracking performance. Un bypass when redy to listen or mix.
I prefer to add compression to the track efx bin as this is more true to the original way we worked using a channel insert. Each track needs it's own anyhow.
