Hey Guys,
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing audio dropouts with X3? I run my samples using VEPRO and route everything through my Apollo interface. I occasionally get a "Please close and re-start Kontakt after a sample rate change". I have everything in VEPRO set always to 48k? Any thoughts? Also what would be the best latency setting for Sonar X3 and Apollo? Thanks in advance

I experienced a bunch of audio dropouts last night while mixing. However I'm mixing a large project (large to me) with 5 songs and about 25 tracks each song, automation lanes, muted tracks in folders, and a ton of 3rd party vst's running. My 6 core machine is only running at about 1/2 to 2/3 on the performance meter. I am running my mackie blackbird at the highest possible latency setting (3 thousand something) but I'm still getting the little black drop out notice. Not sure if this is a disc access bog down or a CPU thing. I especially get them when I'm looping playback.

Thanks for the reply man. I figured out that there is a 2 specific fire wire cards that are supported by Apollo.
The qualified cards from Sonnet and SIIG can be found here:
This for the time being is working.
