John has been here since Cakewalk first started etching code on stone.
 
Regardless of whether John and I have agreed with each other, he has always been honourable and humble.
 
Your comment about kicking John off a pedestal reveals far more about you than it does about him.

I miss TC. What a genius that man was.

I was once sitting in a London pub when in walks Tommy Cooper with his family.  The room went silent and people were nudging each other and whispering while stealing glances in his direction not very discretely.  He looked embarrassed and his family members seemed annoyed, but it was impossible to ignore this man's presence.  They only stayed for one drink before leaving, after which the pub resumed its normal decibel level.

Wow that's a story!
