I'm just trying to decide if it's worth buying SPlat now to secure the lifetime upgrades even though I won't be able to actually use it for virtually anything for months...
Assuming one of my guitars gets returned, I'd still need an amp, mic & cab or amp-sim (more likely), a decent digital I/O card, probably a mic-pre and a mixer. All of that if I use my old, work computer for a DAW too... Of course, since I haven't played in a few years now, I should probably just have the guitar and a sim to relearn the basics! Callouses? Heck, my muscle memory has old-timers disease and doesn't remember squat!
Kenny's WAY ahead of the game. He already has guitars, amps, talent and an American Bulldog. How does one compete with THAT???
