Regarding my posted difficulties with "take lanes" giving me :"Unable to save entire recording. The audio disk may be full." This was accompanied by the blue "Audio Dropout---The audio engine has stopped."

My resources are as follows:
My Disc Space  per sonar Performance is at 2766.7 gig @ 0%.  The disc properties indicates 2.7 TB left. What does the "0%" indicate?
Also memory per Sonar is 3.1 gigs (8%)

Do any of these numbers suggest a reason for audio disk full stoppage?

Hi SF Neighbor!

As to your disk usage, if you have more than one HD, go to preferences and make sure your audio project folder points to the HD with 2.7 TB of space left.

As to dropouts, this tool will help you figure out what processes are causing your latency  issues:

http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon

Run it for a couple minutes then stop, then go to Stats tab to see what caused any latency issues.

Good luck!

Hey SF neighbor,

Thanks for your reply!

My audio data is indeed my D drive which indicates 2.7 TB left (available).

Question: Does the percentage value in sonar/performance/disc space indicate what has been used or what is still available?

It should be "used". If not, Sonar  and PC are not communicating effectively.

I'm not getting any latency while recording and I have some big projects other than this one. My only issue is when using "take lanes." I've never done it before. I can get about 12 take lanes for each of the 8 drum mic-tracks with each take lane being about 30 sec long. Perhaps that's all that is expected?

All FX are disengaged and there is only a scratch vox and gtr on this song so far.
