Unfortunately, for me, transport-audition has been broken in my DAW since S403PE and remains broken through S501PE.

After loop recording to a multi-lane track, a transport-audition will finish with a rewind to the start of the project.

(Not related to "On stop rewind to now marker".)

That's weird -- it always returns to wherever the Now time was when I pressed Shift-Space when it's finished here. Hmm...

And here's another endorsement for "Set Loop Points to Selection". I use this often, and have it bound to Ctrl+Shift+L.

thanks everyone. What a great selection of ideas!. I wish there was some place all these cool hints existed in these forums (or is there?).

Also, is there any way to get Sonar to loop 'just once' i.e every time you press play it will play the loop from beginning to end but then STOP!

Do either of these:

1. Right-click on the Time Ruler and select Auto Shuttle; or

2. Select menu Transport > Loop and Auto Shuttle

Then in the ensuing dialog box, uncheck "Loop Continuously"

I have the same problem in sonar X! But the "Loop and Auto Shuttle" is not avalable in X1

However, I could not find "Loop/Auto Shuttle" function in Sonar X1 but I found another way to play one time the selection.It is so easy.
1. select part of track which going to play
2. Press "shift"+"space" key
It starts to play and at the end point automatically stops.
