Just wanted to drop a quick note on this one for the community. The OP and I have PMd a few times and verified that his download is correct (Neutron Advanced only download, same MD5 hash as mine), as well as seeing a video of what he is experiencing. His Track Assistant shows the audio of the track moving but none of the EQ nodes begin moving.
In my case (when it failed), the audio of the track never even became visible (the splash covered the entire UI in an opaque fashion).
He is following up with iZotope, so wanted to let folks know that my assumption may be bunk. The OP installed from the stand-alone installer, but the issue he is seeing is significant.
Just wanted to put this out there in case others are experiencing similar.
Another note: I played with both versions of Neutron to try to replicate the OP and found the other bug I saw mentioned somewhere... The VST2 version of Neutron comes up in surround mode (even though is only stereo).
After running track assistant, the master outs jumps to +9dB and stay there, even with the transport not running. The LFE channels of Neutron (VST2 version) all show as "pegged" as soon as track assistant is enabled although there is no audio streaming through them (meters not moving).
Quick Edit: I also just submitted a bug report to iZotope directly and linked this post for them regarding the pegged audio meters with the VST2 version (full blown Neutron, not just the stand-alone EQ module).
Another edit to the above: The issue with the VST2 version may very well have a SONAR component to it, as the VST2 version comes up in Adobe Audition 4.0
without surround enabled on a stereo track, although Audition is also very much surround capable. Another clarification with this.... I can only test the 32-bit VST2 version in Audition, so the issue may lie with the 64-bit VST2 version, but am unable to verify.
