Does it crash as well as Melodone?

I hope so, since Melodyne has NEVER crashed on me.

Not saying it isn't impressive. It's state-of-the-art. Downright amazing.

What I am saying is that it has limited appeal for this crowd, the majority of whom are creators rather than engineers being paid to fix somebody else's problems. When my vocals are as bad as those in the demonstration videos (and I'm not saying they never are), I adjust the headphone mix and try it again.

I agree bit...I never would have bought it...even at half price...
I'm poor...but winning it was a nice surprise!

Have to say this does look very good - I have used Vielklang for harmonies over the years and whilst it was just about OK , it wasn't that good, so never upgraded to the current version.
Melodyne again is OK, but I do find Melodyne themselves to be  difficult to deal with and if you have a problem, I have not found them helpful at all.
As I did have a problem for many many months that I could get no help with, it has meant I have not used melodyne much in the past year or so - has meant the singers just have to get it right, which is not a bad thing!
But this looks like a program one could get, learn (does look pretty deep) and then stick with. Just wish it was more affordable.
Shall put on wish list and wait until Larry finds a special offer on this where I can buy it for $10!!!!!!!

I bet that app would be great for someone producing voice overs for movies and cartoons
