Anyone know of a good undelete app (preferably free or at least cheap) that works in Windows 7?

I just accidentally nuked a large project.
I used to have a couple but can't find any of them now.

thanks..

Here's a free one that's actively being updated (includes Win10 support).

I've used Recuva in the past and it worked well

+1 on Recuva. It's my go-to when I need to restore a drive. And it's free.

Why not just look in the recycle bin and restore from there?

If it was in the recycle bin I wouldn't have needed an undelete utility.

Thanks to everyone who posted a suggestion I tried a couple but they showed the file had too many overwritten sectors to be reclaimed.

Various things can influence whether or not a file goes into recycle bin or stays there.

In this case the project file (nonAudio) was over 4 gig.
Because of extremely low disk space (under 8gig) it appears that the system immediately reclaimed and overwrote enough of the the space to make any kind of undelete operation impossible.

It's possible the file had system problems - but now that its gone I can't verify/prove that.
At the time I was trying to copy the file to a backup machine and all the attempts were failing around 80%.
When I accidentally deleted the file should have gone to the recycle bin (I didnt get a warning that it was too big) but it didn't.  I ran the undelete programs off a network drive so as to not alter the harddisk but it was too late.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
