When I record distorted guitar into Sonar X1, I am having a timing problem. The timing is fine when I am recording and playing along with the drum track, but when I listen to the recording, the guitar is not in time with the track, the guitar sounds faster than the drums. I am using a line 6 pod HD 500 with a Focusrite saffire 6 usb. I have been playing for a number of years and regularly practice with a metronome, so I don't think it's my timing. I would appreciate any help. thanks.
