Hi folks
 
I looked into my cakewalk account and found some freebies to download for Sonar X2 Pro.
All worked except one.
 
The Free FX Chain Odyssey Bonus DL.
 
I downloaded and followed the instructions to extract and then to drag the "Odyssey (Bonus FX Chains" folder over the "FX Chain Presets - shortcut" folder.
 
When looking in the browser to check the FX Chain folder, it is empty.
Tried a few times downloading and draging the folder over but still nothing shows up in the FX Chain folder.
Any answers out there why this is happening.

If they are for X-series only, it's better to ask in the X-series forum. This one is for <8.5 versions :o/

Yeah, you are off by one, the X series forum is one above this one. Anyway, all the shortcut is trying to do is simplify the copy process of the Odyssey folder into the directory where the FX chain presets reside. You can copy the Odyssey folder into the FX chain folder directly. The location of the FX chain folder is defined in Preferences > File > Folder Locations "FX Chain Presets"

And report back.
I seem to be going into all the wrong forums with my questions.
You will have to put up with me for a while until I get the hang of submitting posts.
I am a complete novice.
