What are REWARD POINTS and how do you get them?

I see "REWARD POINTS" under our Avatars in the forums and it lookis like everyones got ZERO, I hereby formally request "REWARD Points" from Andrew Rossa of www.cakewalk.com because I am a great SONAR Forum User!
