Here's the problem I've encountered (this was sent to NI Tech support and I'm hoping they can answer-we'll see)
I successfully loaded Komplete 9 upgrade to my Win 7 32 bit desktop but have been unable to load it onto my Win 8.1 64 bit laptop.
I've tried at least 3 time to do this. Each time uninstalling all Komplete 9 components and rebooting
Here's a typical install
Disk 1 (Install) and the Disk 2 Battery Library install OK
But somewhere within the next disks it gives me the following messages. Its happened at disk E, Disk D, and Disk B
Error message says
"Unable to load plug-in library Please rebuild your project..."
I click
OK (the only option)
Then is says "
action skipped"
Then a dialog box open titles "
Disk not found" with the message Please insert Komplete 9"
Notice it doesn't ask for any particular disk.
It then refuses to accept any disk and my only option is to cancel
The NI service enter shows all individual components of Komplete 9 are there BUT gives no indication that Komplete 9 is installed On my win7 32 desktop the only choice in the service center was Komplete 9 with no individual components shown.
QUESTION: What do I need to do to get this on my system from the CDs
OR Can I transfer the Libraries from the disk on my desktop (where Komplete9 IS installed and working and somehow link and authorize them on the Laptop. OBTW all directories are the same on both (except of course for the 64/32 bit vsts installs.
Thanks,
Fred
