My buddy " Grooveman" up in Canada and I did this a while back. Took all of about seven minutes from start to finish. No mixing or messin around. I have no idea what I sang...just winging it...lol...well I did steal the first line from my old buddy Joe Hughes. His wife Willie Mae beat me with her shoe one night in the Evening Shadows club in Houston, Texas because Joe and I got drunk and stayed out all night...lol

Hey, Billy, Dynamite work on this down home, classic blues number!

There's nothing like an old blues standard guitar riff with some great adlibbed, authentic sounding blues vocals to make you feel like you're back in time, standing in a smoky, back alley blues club!

Excellent work, Billy, great stuff!

Thanks Bob,

Q: What happens when you play "the blues" backwards?
A: Your wife comes back to you, your dog returns to life and you get out of prison.

Have a really bluessy day!!

The line "Reefa Man" has been around for a long time but now every time I use it I think of this...lol

Reefa Man is the second cut on the "Sweet N' Nasty" album by Milo Z. They are a New York funk band. I was given a "copy" of their album...well, the person who gave it to me "may" have obtained it through illegal copying, bootlegging or software piracy. I sorta got that idea because the album cover was a cheap xerox copy in black and white and the CD had "Milo Z" written in black nail polish...lol

You can buy the track for 99 cents at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/miloz  which I actually did, the whole album.

This became my favorite song for a long time. I would like to do a cover if Ed would play the bass part.

There is a live version on youtube but not the original studio album.

I'll send you the 99 cents if you need money...lol
