Hi – I purchased quite a few Platinum Samples kits for Sonar Session Drummer 3 about a year ago or so.
My computer crashed, and I had to re-format my hard drive.
I am attempting to install Jim Scott, Andy Johns, and Rock Legends 1-3 on my system. Sonar and Session Drummer 3 are installed (Windows 7).
I have the files for install and follow the steps; when  it gets to installation directory, it doesn’t show any choices, but progresses to the next window and then says that it’s installed.
But it’s not – the sounds aren’t there.
Please advise - if I remember there was some obscure trick to making this work (??)

Session Drummer 3 works just like DimPro and Rapture, F5 in the program browser refreshes the list.

Yes - I tried that - however the kits did not appear, and on closer inspection it appears that the kits/samples were not copied over into the SD3 kits folder.

This appears to be an install error with the Platinum samples EXE file.

Moving the samples and sfz files is not a big task, just a tedious one. Each kit piece has it's own directory in Kits with the kit definitions above the individual instrument directories. Surprising that the Platinum Samples installers failed, might want to let them know. There are pretty good at supporting their stuff.

Make sure you've downloaded the latest installers which were updated for a fresh X3 install
