Can anybody recommend a decent wah wah effect (pref free) 64 bit VST to replace the Sonitus Direct X wah wah plugin?

Thanks...

Guitarpima
Quad curve EQ. It's free!

Drop the entire EQ, create one big curve, Q to taste, create an envelope and adjust away.

You can do something similar for a phaser effect. two or 3 peaks and lock them. I forget how far to separate the peaks.

Craig Anderton's book about recording for guitarist has all the info. The web as well, probably.
