Ah - and I see from my old computer that the FX2 Tape Sim is also an "AX" DX file; so . . . probably a "no go."

The FX2 Tape Sim was ported to 64bit. It is included at least through X2. I am looking at it right now in X2 64bit. That funky old screen with 5 sliders, drop downs for tape speed and EQ curve and two check boxes. Are you asking about some other FX2 Tape Sim, is there any other?

There's a tape emulator in the Pro channel, not sure if that helps (update apols, looks like this is an Overloud plugin I have.... )

So there's a FX2 Tape Sim 64 bit version, could somebody care to give me the name of the DLL so I can search my hard drive?

Cheers!

I would very much like to see the remaining FX series update to 64bit, or at least the Reverb, Chorus and Flange, but somehow I doubt that'll ever happen.   I guess there's always 32bit SONAR if they're really needed...

You are not alone, there quite a few fans of the FX1-3 line but I believe your assessment is correct. They are history.
