Hello everyone ,

I found a bug that I am sure many have using Sonar X3c.
The scrolling bar downwards, reach the limit of around 100 tracks and then stops scrolling. When you click on the box to scroll down and you drag down with your mouse.
To scroll further you must stop scrolling downwards by dragging the box , and then click continuously the downwards arrow instead.
It's a lame edit and I lose much time just to scroll. Mysteriously doesn't happen when you drag the scrolling box upwards.
I am sure many users don't reach 100 tracks so that the reason cakewalk didn't look after it.
This project has around 300 tracks. you understand it's a pain to edit.
A way to bypass is to unzoom to minimize the size of each track. But I am loosing vital information on the track while minimized. Should be to any size.

Does anyone know how to remedy that ?
thanks :)

No bug here.

I was curious about this, so I cloned a track 199 times (Sonar can't create more than 200 clones with one operation) and then cloned another 200 tracks for a total of 400 tracks. All had audio data. I could scroll through all 400 tracks by dragging the scroll bar rectangle or using the mouse wheel.

Could you be experiencing a RAM issue where you run out of memory? I'm running W7/X3c but have 32GB of RAM.

Thank you Anderton for your reply.

All tracks have almost all window maximized , if it's minimized it has no problems.
No memory problems. Had no problems with Sonar X1

For fun please update your graphics card driver.
Then please try cutting and pasting tracks into a brand new project.

300 tracks that must be a new record. I wonder what tape deck could do that?

I didn't have the tracks maximized. What happens if you use enable or disable auto-zoom?

Alex , drivers are updated . Copy and pasting the tracks , that's not doable for many reasons, mostly time efficiency , many synths as well.
