I've looked in the manual, in Help, and searched online to find information about using the CAL recorder. It's mentioned here and there, but no info on how to access it in SONAR 4. Does anyone know?

There is no Cal recorder in Sonar.

Hi Era-

John's right -- there was a CAL recorder in Pro Audio, but I don't think it made it even into SONAR v1. You might want to check the Cakewalk CAL forum for more info.

I, for one, would like to see that feature brought back!

Please, please (if you haven't already done so or even if you have!) everybody put in a Cakewalk feature request here. I've been doing so since Sonar 1 .. thus far, no success!

So is there any workaround for the time being?   A keystroke macro program that will work inside of Sonar 8.5?   And how about Sonar X1?

This is a no brainer: everyone can benefit.

Yup.... been learning autohotkey.   But it's not easy to find relevant script/language: sure {enter} means "hit the enter key" and many keys are represented, happily, by the keystroke itself.   But "move down one line" (hit the down arrow key): can't find that!

Put question up at the autohotkey support site.
