Sonar X3c - I've seen this for a while and it just doesn't make any sense.
All of my MIDI tracks have an input option for Dimension Pro x64 - as shown above.
In addition, all of my Audio tracks have an option for input from Dimension Pro x64 - as shown above.
This shows even when I have no instances of DimPro in a project. Why is this appearing here?

I believe when DimPro is inserted in the synth rack, it has "Enable MIDI Output" enabled by default. That is why you see it in MIDI input. I do not recall if DimPro can actually send MIDI (I don't think so). It would appear to be a bug in the new VST scanner. If it appears that there is no instance of DimPro in the project, check the synth rack.

It looks to me you have Dim Pro acting as an audio/midi interface!

Okay - I think I figured it out.
I created a new template straight out of X3 without using an older template version which apparently had some reference to DimPro x64 - problem solved.
