Are we talking about either one or the other, or both?
 
Both sound like guitar, without a doubt.
 
I'm not sure about the mic'd bit... I've not got much experience with mic'ing guitars, but these sound like there is no room ambience, or, in my case, if it was me, poor room sound.
 
What are you up to, may I ask? 

Hi Andy, I'm mucking about with rematrix and a couple of acoustic guitar IR's . There's no ambience on this so I can hear better what Rematrix is doing ; ) To my ears it works ok on the rhythm part and sounds a bit to funky on the lead part. Just needed some fresh ears to listen to this.

IMO the rhythm part sounds very natural.  The lead is a bit bright and doesn't seem to have as much space around it.  Although it's difficult to tell if the recordings themselves are part of that difference. 

Hi Steve, thanks for listening. Rhythm part ok, lead crap ; ) Just what I thought.  Uploaded a version with reverb and a bit less treble on the lead.

Would you consider doubling the rhythm and moving the lead to centre? Just wondering 

Hi Andy, thanks, I normally double the rhythm and put the lead in the middle, this  is just a sound test at the moment. Panned it hard left and and right to hear it better ; )

Really like it. Good sync to hear, would love to hear a version without the panning. The first strum at 00:02 amazing. What kind of guitars do you use?

Hi,Kane, thanks for listening. First strum is a slow rake of the plectrum starting at the high e. The guitar is a Ovation Celebrity Elite Koa.
