Hello,
I have had four bad crashes since I upgraded to SonarX3 Producer/x3c and am trying to troubleshoot. The crashes occur mostly using Audiosnap.
I rarely have my computer on the internet and it's not set to get Windows updates?  The last update I put on was on 1/10/2012  when I purchased the system.
Thanks,

My Win 7 is running Sonar fine with Service Pack 1, plus online update from time to time. Your message just reminds me for an update check.. and just saw there are 43 important updates to do.

You should run windows update several times until there are no updates left. These will improve security, stability and performance. Several bug fixes as well. Also note the optional updates contain many stability and performance fixes. I install them all except bing and windows live. You should be looking at updating your drivers and firmware everywhere as well. Please check your windows event viewer for clues.

Yes as per Alex above. Also there has only been the 1 windows7 service pack., but many additional recommended updates. They are released on a monthly schedule that Microsoft calls Patch Tuesday. Hope that helps.

+1 for all of the above.  I am not aware of any issues caused by applying Windows 7 64-bit maintenance, and also recommend that you apply all outstanding maintenance.
