Hello

Has anyone used the Yamaha NP30 with Sonar? I use a sustain pedal but it is not sustaining the notes in sonar itself. With the Control change on on the NP30 there is a note being played (Midle E). When the control change is off in the keyboard no note is played but there is still no sustain of notes produced in Sonar. I have the keyboard hooked up via Midi-USB to my Laptop.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Either the NP-30 is not sending the sustain pedal control or Sonar is not recording it. Go to Options-Global-MIDI and make sure the proper checkboxes are checked. Check the NP-30 manual and make sure it is sending the sustain pedal control. Sustain pedal is control 64 and has a value of either 0 (off) of 127 (on). Check the Event List view to see if Sonar is recording it.
