Very happy to see CW management care about perception..... having all these A, B, C releases, etc could lead one to believe that the software was full of bugs but as most of us noticed:
1) X3 was the most stable new major release in recent years
2) The A, B and C patches are coming with months of the release
So, the way I hope this plays out is that the bakers are now aware of perception of its user base... the timeliness to issue updates (releases) to fix bugs this often has the perception that they care rather than they are forced into releasing something. I still can't get over the amount of time it took the bakers to fix the motorboating issues of 8.x... I do remember not using my DAW for what seemed like weeks until they released a fix for this major show stopper.
And X2 only having one release before X3 and the fact that alot of the familiar bakers were bailing the company created some angst about the future of SONAR....
The last couple of months have given me a much better feeling toward SONAR that I have had in many years.
THANKS GUYS, I for one have noticed.
