1) Playlist keybinding to turn off auto load no longer worked in X2
2) In the X2 playlist it was not possible to drag an entry above the current window position ... it would not scroll up - you had to go to the scroll bars scroll up and then drag. Repeat until you got to the top of the list.
3) Now time line would disappear requiring a restart of the program.

I haven't seen 3) in X3.

Not better just different.  Mine was specific.

I don't use the Playlist myself, but I found this in the X3b fixed list:

• Dragging projects in the Playlist will now scroll when the files are being dragged past the border of the Playlist window
• Playlist columns now persist when closing, saving and reopening (CWBRN-13970)

 
And from X3c:

• Text notes would not persist in the Playlist View

 
FWIW, I haven't seen the disappearing Now Time in X3 either.
 

The good news is that old bugs die.
The bad news is new bugs are born every day.
