I am not sure what to make of this, but it doesn't sound overly impressive on paper. Alloy sort of fell by the wayside when Ozone trucked on, and it seems like they are trying to make them more distinct. Ozone Advanced pretty much made Alloy2 obsolete, and it seems like they are going to try the regular/advanced route with this as well. I will give the demo a try when it comes out at least.

I'd had no interest in Alloy, or channel strips/multi-effects in general, and only acquired it because it came with the Creative bundle. To my great surprise, it quickly became a go-to effect. If they've really been able to improve upon it in a significant way, without sacrificing existing functionality, then that's pretty exciting.
 
Unfortunately, there is no way I can consider it at this price, which is more than I paid for Ozone Advanced + Alloy + Nectar + Trash + Insight. Even if it is Bob Clearmountain in a box.

as for izotope.. I'll wait a year or 3 till they HIGHLY discount with perhaps , or no backward compat (like iris) .. like 2 other things I bought from them.. not a fan of the companies marketing antics (and many more companies) and how much I've spent with them vs other companies.. wanna discount stuff so much ? no worries, I'll wait for that discounted price.
