Greg Lake had one of 'those' voices, that have a certain timbre..I can't really explain it too well, but the kind of voice that gives you goosebumps. I remember first hearing those 'ooh' harmonies on 'Lucky Man', just sounded fantastic.

Jeez, I hope Carl's OK.
I saw Carl and his band around 18 months ago and he was looking very youthful, fit and disgustingly healthy. I hope that continues.

The news of Greg came as an awful shock when I heard it on the radio earlier today. What a voice! And he wasn't too shabby on bass and guitar too.

Here's hoping John Wetton pulls through.

RIP Greg.

Boy, the bass players and keyboard players especially have really been leaving us too often over the last few years.

RIP Greg. Great talent. Awesome voice.
I won't say I'll blow the dust off my ELP collection, because I've never stopped listening to them & pounding out some of those ELP classics on my piano.

I know he'd been unwell for a good while but it's still a shock.

My thoughts go out to Regina, Natasha and his grandson Gabriel.
