I recorded automation with notes as you can see here.  I wish to move the notes around and have the automation follow... any way?
thank you!

Hi, I guess you can't do it on PRV, because automation envelopes are exclusive to Track View.

But as a workaround you could use Inline PRV on TV, and choose 'Select Track Envelopes With Clips' on the Option Menu. This will allow you to move small clips and have envelopes to follow them.

I hope this helps!

To add to what mgustavo says, the inline PRV isn't really that different from the standard PRV once you figure out zooming and such. In the timeline, drag across the region covering the note and if "Select Track Envelopes with Clips" is selected, you can copy or cut just that individual note and after pasting, it will include the same controllers. This happens even if there are no nodes associated with the region containing the note...and this is something I wouldn't have known if I hadn't checked it out in order to answer your question, so I've learned something as well.

Thanks guys for the help.  This seems to work, but I ran into a new problem.   What if I JUST want to copy automation movements, but not the MIDI notes.  My notes are constantly changing pitch, but I wish to keep the same parameter movements.  Is there a way to simply copy the parameter movements and paste them?

I drag swipe/CNTRL+C in the Automation lane itself. Then use the same procedure by placing the now time where I want the automation to start and use the CNTRL+V paste function. Remember its not about the midi track here, only the Automation lane.
