I just want to check this has installed correctly. When I open The Loops folder I see the Loopmasters folder, the Sample Magic folder, the X-Mix folder and then just a massive list of REX loops, the first one being 4Floor-Kick-Doogy-120. I would have expected them to be in another folder, to keep things tidy.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Thanks for that. I guess I'll create some sub folders to tidy it up and eventually get around to some house keeping and clear out what I don't want.

I believe they are installed in one folder to make searching easier. The search function only works in the current directory.

I reckon searching would be easier in subfolders and this to me looks like it's just the Beatscape Library as one big list. Am I right?

With X2 the Beatscape synth was dropped and the Beatscape library was incorporated into loops and one shots package.

The search function only operates in the current directory and will not dive into subdirectories. I would imagine that is why the files are in one directory. But as mentioned before, you are free to alter the layout to suit.

I started to alter it last night. That's when I guessed as I was looking at the Beatscape Library. I left it at that.......it was getting late. But had another look this morning and you guys have just confirmed it for me.

That's exactly what I'm gonna do.

Cheers all!
