Is there an on off switch for the spectrum analyzer in in the zoomed out quad curve eq? The analyzer keeps disappearing seemly at random from my tracks and buses. Once it's gone I can't seem to get it back. Opening, closing, changing algos, collapsing, moving, etc have no effect once it's gone. Any ideas? I didn't seem anything in the documentation. Thanks.

It's a problem on mono tracks if you're using 64-bit precision. Until they release a fix, turn off 64-bit precision.

In the audio driver preferences? If so, no way. Unchecking that spikes my cpu use and makes everything sound like ass. I hope meant something else?

Uncheck 64 bit double precision engine.

I can't see how it could spike your CPU, quite the opposite, I'd have thought.

It is unlikely that you would hear any difference at all, unless you are using A LOT of tracks, with many separate instances of reverb, and even then I would find that very unlikely.

Cakewalk are working on a fix, so it is only a temporary measure.

There's no reason why unchecking 64 bit precision should make anything sound like ass.

A good alternative is http://www.voxengo.com/product/span/ which is a free VST plug-in. There is another folks recommend as well, but I forget it offhand.

The spectral analysis doesn't display when the track is muted as well. Just FYI.
