And the only time I get double posts is when I'm on my phone. Win8phone

I have the same problem when posting from my phone. The mobile theme takes a while to refresh so I tend to hit the submit button a few times and end up with a double post. Do you know if that's what is happening to you as well?

This happens to me regularly. Doesn't the forum software have some kind of double-post safeguard enabled?

I'd like to know what's wrong with the search. Claiming we need to fix something with no context as usual isn't really helpful. :(

Well for instance, I started a thread entitled "Tracks routed to Kontakt multi exhibit mute/solo grouping" yesterday, yet it doesn't show up in a forum search for "Kontakt." I don't think it's the case that the forum search won't return results from as recent as yesterday, because the first result in that search is a post from yesterday (when the "last update" filter is engaged).

this thread is a perfect example of how some of us are a little confused about who owns this forum.
this is cakewalks forum and they can do what ever they want with it.
the days of telling someone: "too bad" or "deal with it". have become a thing of the past in fear of hurting someone's feelings.
cakewalk has been generous enough to give us this forum and make it feel as though its ours.
with that comes a price. users thinking it really does belongs to them.

I've never been on a forum anywhere as free and open as this one.
we should not take that for granted, though we often do.

Well said, Charlie.

I said that 2 pages ago. LOL

it probably sounded better when you said it,lol

Sharke if you search for Tracks Kontakt it works it needs a little more detail. That's not uncommon with website search engines (don't expect everything to work as great as google :) ).

I have a hunch though...
* A slash in the title may not help (try editing and removing it).
* After a post, full search indexing may not happen straight away so the search engine may handle the search differently.

Ryan you may wish to review the period search gets indexed (without hammering your servers of course), also please check this:

Although hardly a priority.

Cheers...

Just because some forumers including me dont change their titles after a pbroblem is solved may i suggest to have single button to press so it will mean its solved. My reason for not doing is its a long process.

Yeah it does take a while to hit edit, type solved in the title, and hit save.
