This wasn't meant to be a political statement.

Walls have been done before. They didn't work, but some at least became tourist attractions.

You know I agree that if we are going to be a nation we should at least make an attempt to secure our borders, if there is a threat.. but I always wonder why no one remembers the Berlin Wall. The point being that without armed guards, willing and ready to shoot... it wouldn't have worked. We've had an open border with Mexico for hundreds of years and it's an ebb and flow but it has always worked. Most of it is a desert and it seems to me that if we really wanted to do it, some people with the job of catching people could pretty much do it... but I think no one really wants to. Everyone wants someone else to do it but wants them to be nice about it. Meanwhile thousands of dollars change hands and everything remains the same. As long as we have a "war on drugs" we are going to have a porous border.
We should import and breed thousands of Honey Badgers and let them loose along the border. Yeah... that!

Homeland Security purchased over 1.5 Billion rounds of ammunition.  If it's not for zombies, then we're all in trouble!

Oh yeah, and FEMA bought $1 Billion worth of disposable coffins (big, black, stackable, plastic things that can hold five bodies each - they're stored all over the country).  Must be for zombies, ya?

Only it didn't.

Sorry, that's yet another post-truth conspiracy theory.
