Every air guitar I have ever owned seems to have tuning issues.

I just took my new one back and picked up a double-neck!  Turns out it wasn't too heavy...

A vocalist I know (I'll call him Ernie) once had his air guitar stolen at a gig. He had just finished a grueling duet with the actual guitarist (Bert). Ernie set it down, turned away and that was the last time he didn't see it.
 
I'm not sure, but I always suspected Bert. He always seemed a little jealous of Ernie's superior shredding technique.
