Scott,
I inserted a link on my website to the Amazon site. Hope that helps and directs some traffic your way. You did an awesome job with this book my friend!
Hey Marcus... that's awesome, thanks very much! By the way, you can make a few extra bucks with that link, if you'd like. Amazon has an affiliate program. You can sign up and put links on your site to my book (or other Amazon products) and earn a commission when someone orders through your link. You can find more info about it at: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/

Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up Scott. I really don' t make any money off this site. It just contains the guitar lessons, music, and other projects. It is more or less a hobby site. I do get some traffic and people know I use Sonar. Some have purchased it off my recommendation. I think they should have your book too. It has been great so far. Still reading it.

Yes, Scott, I will write a review of your book. I'm reading from cover to cover, at the moment. And so far it's been a very good read!
As far as what music I make: It's mostly hobby songwriting, for myself, and mixing friends recordings and just overall "tinkering". I've always wanted to have my own "studio" and Sonar is making it happen ;)
Thanks again for your book. I've been hanging out more and more at digifreq. There is tons of information there, too! Thank you for that, also!
Hey Tim... thanks very much! That would be great, I appreciate it. Glad to hear you're enjoying DigiFreq too!

For anyone that doesn't already know, DigiFreq provides a free music recording newsletter that you can get at: http://www.digifreq.com/digifreq/subscribe.asp

Hey Marcus... no problem. I figure that if people are going to help me out, they might as well get something in return. I'll probably let everyone know about the Amazon program in an upcoming issue of DigiFreq. I'm sure there are plenty of SONAR users out there with their own websites. You've got some nice content up on yours!

Thanks!

Thank you for the tip and comments. Wrote reviews on Cakewalk Store and Bol.com. As I am their costumer :) I am no longer afraid of the name Skylight, I just use it now :) Ciao

Hey Richard... excellent, thanks very much! I appreciate it. Ha! Yeah, SONAR can be a bit daunting at first, but once you get used to the new workflow, it's a nice experience.

I'm totally new to DAW and home recording. The challenge and excitement for me is learning how to use it. I have to say, if I invested in X2 Producer for my hobby, then I should have well written reference material and I am very pleased by this book! Learning sound and mixing is one thing. Learning how to use SONAR for me was something different and now I have the bible for it. Great book Scott and I am happy for my first post on this forum to be a review for your book! :) I wrote a review on Cakewalk store and will do so on Amazon.

After you've had a chance to look through it, and only if you have time, could you post a review up on Amazon and in the Cakewalk Store?

ROGER, WILCO.

Hey Greg... it's good to meet you! Thanks very much for getting my book and for the reviews! I appreciate it. I also noticed that you signed up for DigiFreq... I hope you enjoy that too. I did see your post over on the DigiFreq forums and I posted a reply there.

Thanks!
