SONAR tip: Automatic Template - If you want to have SONAR configured in a particular way every time you run the program, simply create a new template and save it as the NORMAL.CWT file. You also need to make sure the On Startup Load Normal Template option is activated. To do so, press P. Then choose File - Advanced in the Preferences dialog box and put a check mark next to the option.

WOW! What a book. Only read it the once, got a ton of sticky notes hanging out the top that highlight the basics - thinks I would use on every track (such as take lanes, quantizing audio, using V-Vocal, Audiosnap etc)
 
Once I have 'mastered' the basics, I'll definitely be giving it another read!!

Hi Damien... thanks very much! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the book so much. There are definitely a lot of tips sprinkled throughout the book so reading through it cover-to-cover is the way to go.

SONAR tip: Changing Multiple Properties - You can also change the properties for multiple tracks simultaneously. Just select the tracks you want to adjust by Ctrl+clicking or Shift+clicking on the appropriate track numbers in the Track view. Then press and hold Ctrl while adjusting the control for the property you would like to change. This is known as the Quick Groups feature.
