As of today, the latest driver for FF 800 and windows is version 3.078 which was issued in August.  I may possibly get this message because I have my FF set at 64 samples, but it creates no problems with CW.

Are you still getting the problem? Just curious. I have no great ideas.

PS: Ever noticed that you can't maximize the window for the TotalMixFX? What's up with that?

Installed the "c" patch today.
No issues running X3c x32 or X3c x64; this is on my StudioCat Win7x64.
You're running Win 8.1 or Win 7?
And I guess I'm confused, you have a UFX and a FF800?

My sig has my current config. I am using a UFX, but also seen the driver message with the FF800 and X series producer. I am using Win7.

Guitarmech, I used to get the same message with a Line6 product a couple years ago. I had to get a dedicated usb2 PCI card. Took care of my problem.

Based on @LeadFoot's message, it makes me think to mention Power Options...

You usually want to set your PC on high performance power setting.
Under the advanced link for the high performance setting, find
USB > USB Selective Suspend Setting > ensure it is set to DISABLED.

I recognize that you probably have this done already. I'm mentioning it just in case.

thanks guys, affirmative on the power stuff. I have a USB3 port for my UFX. The only other USB device is a keyboard/mouse setup. There are 3 USB controllers on this Board.

The issue is not that the unit doesn't function. It works quite well. This never happens during playback, only when I have the transport stopped. Just out of the blue, I get it. It is more of an annoyance than anything.

Along with the disconnected/connected message, I occasionally see an error when pressing play that the audio could not be rendered too. It does it twice each time. I have no idea why that comes up, but it goes away after acknowledging each error message and playback starts. Just thought I would mention that.

When I first installed the UFX I was advised NOT to use a usb3 port.
IIRC the updated drivers allow the use of the usb3 port.
I was also advised to check in device manager to see that ONLY the UFX was on that USB channel.
This all came from Jim at StudioCat.
Flawless operation so far with all Sonar X series 1 2 and 3 (fingers crossed!).

As far as the operation goes, no issues in performance whatsoever. This thing is rock solid on playback with no burps at all. The only issues I have are the driver/unit disconnect and audio rendering outside of playback/recording which seem to be unique to SONAR. I have never gotten any type of device error indication in Vegas, SF or other hosts.
