Could someone check and see if quick groups is working right for them. I was in console view changing the console emulators with quick groups and it kept doing odd things like...I click N-type and three would change but one would switch to A-type. I'm only doing a test with a 4 track demo. I don't believe the master bus would change at all, but I can't remember if it is supposed to. Thanks.

I can confirm some strangeness here. When I fist inserted them and then selected the type, some went to the selected type some didn't. I tried selecting different types and sometime they all went to the same type and sometimes they didn't.

I had a PC issue yesterday where I inserted the CA2A but it would not function. I had to delete it and re-insert to get it working.

Anyway, I can confirm what you are seeing.

Thanks, You mention the CA2A...I had a little issue with Klanghelm's DC8C2 were it was working, then I went to messing around and came back to it, and it didn't. I had to delete and re-insert. Still I'm loving X3b. Thanks for checking!

After reading this I've played with quick groups and console emulator . . .  yes  . . . it's not working like it should for me either in X3b.
Changes don't occur until you remove your finger from the control key ? I seem to remember changes used to occur when you pressed control key.

For me, switching the type of Console Emulation in quick grouped tracks was always a little funny. It wasn't absolute. If you 2 were A and 1 was N and you quick grouped all three and moved the A to N, the Ns would become S.

In other words, it moved them all and relative to their current position.

I just tried this and it's goofier in X3 than X2. I couldn't get the behavior to be as predictable.

Yes same here. Thought it was me and I was going mad! I tried putting a console emulation in very track prior to mastering. Showed strange behaviour. Had to let go of the ctrl to make changes and then didn't happen on all.

Hopefully someone will read this a fix in it in the next update

I just tried it on 12 tracks and could insert Breverb and Concrete limiter across those tracks in quick group....

This is how it works for me as well. It would be better to have the selection be absolute (go to type A if I click type A on one channel) and not relative.

Other than this I also found a bug that is repeatable on my system running X3c.  Open a new project and upload a few audio files as separate tracks.  Now group the tracks and use CTRL while selecting a new CE type in the pro channel.  On my system the first click to a new CE type results in only the CE on the one track that is highlighted turning *on* (no change to the CE type).  The second click results in a change to the new type, but only to the one track actually highlighted.  This applies to making changes to the drive as well.  It acts as if nothing is grouped.

Now, try grouping the tracks and clicking the on/off button.  This seems to "reset" things and suddenly grouping and controlling things like CE type, drive etc. work as expected.  From this point on everything works ok, even if I turn CE off on all tracks, save, and then reopen.

Odd, and clearly a bug.  I will report it.

On perhaps a related matter, trying to work with projects started in X2 results in very odd, seemingly unpredictable behavior similar to what others have described.
